Professor Sachdeva receives prestigious American Association of Pharmaceutical Sciences Global Leader Award

San Antonio, TX – Professor Mandip Singh Sachdeva, Ph.D. | Professor and Section Leader, Pharmaceutics in the Florida A&M University (FAMU) College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (CoPPS, IPH) has been selected to receive the AAPS Global Leader Award - American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, which will be presented at the PharmSci 360 - American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists in November 2025. “This recognition reflects the collective effort of my students, postdocs, and colleagues at FAMU, whose commitment, creativity, and collaboration have made our research and outreach possible,” Sachdeva readily acknowledged.

“I would also like to thank my peers across the college Pharmaceutics | FAMU CoPPS, IPH for your continued support and encouragement, which have been instrumental in enabling me to pursue impactful research and mentorship. I am grateful to AAPS for this recognition and look forward to representing our institution and our college on this global platform,” concluded Sachdeva.

In Dr. Sachdeva’s leading by example, the following students from his lab have been selected for best abstract awards and rapid fires. In fact, according to Sachdeva, all of their submissions were selected for these categories.

Only seven-eight (7-8) percent of the submissions are selected for this annual meeting, and there were over 2200 abstracts submitted.
