Of the more than 2,000 posters to be presented, only about seven to eight percent of the posters are selected for Best Poster awards. Aakash Nathani, MS and PhD candidate (pictured right) has authored a poster submission in that elite group for presentation entitled: “Harnessing Camel Milk-Derived Exosomes to Enhance Oral Bioavailability of Anticancer Agents with Poor Solubility and Permeability (ARV-825 and CBD) and Revealing the Mechanism of Improved Absorption.” He received the $1,000 travelship stipend and Best Abstract Award: AAPS PharmSci 360 PharmSci 360 - American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (aaps.org).

Less than five percent of the submissions receive the travel award.

Apart from this, the pharmaceutics team went to the Marijuana Consortium Meeting Cannabis Clinical Outcomes Research Conference 2024 - UF College of Pharmacy (smugmug.com) this past May, and in the poster competition, Ms. Aare received the Best Poster Award: Synergistic Anticancer Activity of Cannabinoids and Terpenes against Triple Negative Breast Cancer Resistance.
