FAMU Mourns the Loss of Saber Samaan, Ph.D.
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Dr. Saber Samaan, Professor of Pharmaceutics in the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Institute of Public Health, on April 30, 2022. Dr. Samaan served FAMU for more than 40 years as a faculty member. He will be sorely missed.
Please join us in honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Samaan. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in honor of Dr. Samaan and his many years of service on May 20, 2022, from 11 am -12:30 pm (EST) in the Blue Cross Blue Shield Auditorium located in the West Wing of the New Pharmacy Building (1415 S. MLK Drive) followed by a reception on the second floor of the West Wing. Family, Friends, Faculty, Staff, and Students are welcome to attend.
