Melody Evans and Satchell Mede, 2nd year Doctor of Pharmacy Candidates at FAMU College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Institute of Public Health (CoPPS, IPH), are bridging the gap between pre-professional learners and PharmD candidates by facilitating the Pre-Pharm Forum.

The forum provides an opportunity for pre-professional learners to network with pharmacy learners and gain knowledge, advice, and guidance.

The forum featured is facilitated by Melody and Satchell, with assistance from Kalyn Pickens and Elizabeth Rhodes, 2nd year Doctor of Pharmacy Candidates. These learners are positive role models and exemplify well-rounded pharmacy learners. In the future, the forum will feature alumni visits to share their journey through pharmacy school and life after FAMU CoPPS, IPH

The Pre-Pharm Forum includes sessions such as “How to Study Like a Pharmacy Student” and “Interview Prep.” The learners meet in Forum every Thursday at 11:00 am.
