October 30, 2022

Florida A&M University has announced its Health Professions Program, aimed at attracting, enrolling, retaining, and graduating top scholars and high achievers in healthcare professions. The program will employ a centralized approach to recruitment through innovative engagement, co-curricular activities, and educational workshops. FAMU's Health Professions Program aims to increase awareness of the university's suite of programs in healthcare professions and promote the "FAMU Health" brand. The program will focus on Nursing, Physical Therapy, and the 6-year Pharm. D. program, offering academic support to "pre"-professional and professional students to improve retention and licensure passage rates. FAMU's Health Professions Program also seeks to foster leadership skills in future practitioners through classroom instruction, clinical experiences, and student-centered programming.
