This year's Symposium will be focused on diabetes and what pharmacists can do in the care of these patients. Diabetes is a disease that affects nearly every community. According to the American Diabetes Association the national cost of diabetes in the U.S. in 2022 was more than $412.9 billion, up from $327 billion in 2017. Approximately 2,317,800 adults in Florida, or 10% of the adult population, have diagnosed diabetes. Every year, an estimated 139,000 adults in Florida are diagnosed with diabetes. As pharmacists, we can play a significant role in the care of these patients. This conference is for consultant pharmacists, hospital pharmacists, community pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy students. Early bird registration for the best rates will end on February 28th. The preregistration deadline is Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
