BiosketchDr. Soheyla Mahdavian received her Doctorate degree in Pharmacy at the Florida A&M University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2009. Upon graduation, she was chosen to be the first Pharmacy Practice Resident with the collaborative College of Pharmacy/Apalachee Center Inc. PGY1 Residency Program. During her residency, she was able to work primarily patients with psychiatric disorders and received training with memory disorder patients and geriatric patients at the Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare Neuroscience Center. Upon completion of the program, she went on to pursue a career in Academia, and her areas of interest include: Psychiatric and Geriatric medicine, Patient Education, and Alternative therapies. Dr. Mahdavian is a Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist, Tobacco Treatment Specialist, skilled in Medication Therapy Management, and currently maintains her pharmacy license in the State of Florida.
