Current research funding for the College is $22.5 million ($21.0 million in federal, $1.1 million in state support, and from $325.046 private industry support) with over $37,301.715 million committed through 2012

Program Statistics
  • Fall 2009 PharmD student enrollment is 1, 068
  • Produced over 2,000 graduates, representing 20% of the nations African-American pharmacists
  • Graduates average 92% first-time passage rate on the National Board of Pharmacy Exam
  • Through the service learning program, PharmD students volunteer an average of 25,000 hours per graduating class.
  • Current graduate student enrollment is 122. There are 42 PhDs, 21 DrPH, 45 MPH, and 14 MS. Students in 2009-2010
  • Graduated over 60% of African-American PhDs in pharmaceutical sciences, since 1990
  • Ranked number 4 in the Southeast in NIH Funding per number of FTE PhD Faculty (Source: AACP 2009)
  • Only College of Pharmacy nationally that offers the MPH and DrPH degrees in Public Health through the Institute of Public Health
  • Instructional Sites located in Tampa, Jacksonville, and Miami, Florida
  • Provide pharmacy services for indigent patients through federally qualified community health centers and county health departments in Tallahassee, Jacksonville and St. Petersburg, Florida
